Unlike Autodesk AutoCAD software and other commercial CAD design programs requiring expensive licenses, Blender is a completely free CAD system with professional-grade 3D CAD software capabilities accessible to everyone.
Artists choosing between Google SketchUp, SketchUp free, and AutoCAD find that Blender offers the most complete free 3D design software package with unlimited modeling capabilities at no cost.
Blender's precision tools function as capable CAD drawing software for product design, architectural visualization, and technical modeling, extending into a full CAD design software solution with add-ons.
Whether you need 3D design software for visualization, 3D CAD software for engineering, or free CAD design software for architectural plans, Blender adapts to any workflow as a versatile CAD computer program.
